Masivo Hybrid Hot Pepper’s 7 1/2-in. fruits are very flavorful with a mild heat¡ªand their size makes them excellent for stuffing and roasting. Poblano peppers, sometimes called Mexican chili peppers, are used green for flavoring and stuffing; they’re also dried for ancho chile seasoning. The vigorous upright plants, grow 24-36 inches tall, and have good disease resistance. Peppers are a warm-season vegetable and seeds are usually started indoors.
